If the merchants falls under the eligible MCC listing or merchant list as shown on our website, it will be eligible for 10X.

The MCC of a merchant is dependent on the merchant and the payment association (VISA/MasterCard), and is not within OCBC’s control.

Lazada: 5311”

There is 10X for OCCB TR for MCC 5732

Hi there,

This is dependent on when your card was first issued.

The refresh will be done on the first day of the month, a year after the card was first issued.

For eg.

If your card's opening date is in May 2019
The OCBC$ count will be reset on 1 May 2020.

If you have replaced your card before, you should not rely on the expiry date on your current card to deduce this. It would be advisable for you to speak with our service executive so that they can check on your card account, and accurately advise.

If you have not replaced your card, then yes, if your card's expiry is showing as 05/23, then your next reset will be 1 May 2020.

I applied for this card using MyInfo two times but both times I got a letter that I don't meet the minimum income requirement. Even though I meet the requirement and I have $30,000 cards from other banks.

This was my first cc but I cancelled it when they refused to waive the annual fee. Good riddance. I have other cards to use so doesn’t bother me.

What about Amazon Prime Now app and if qualifies under the 20x promo (for registered users)? Noticed that the transactions via Amazon Prime Now app reflects differently from Amazon Singapore website.

Not that impactful. Probably if many many small purchases. For instance $749 Apple Watch is 7490 OCBC$ now is 7450 OCBC$

Think it’s still acceptable. Better then citi rewards capped at $1000 per month. Least this is annual limit and not monthly

This is the worst bank in my opinion.
Their card rewards and privileges are terrible.
Very long wait on the phone for customer service assistance.
They tie up with merchants on their website and merchant refused to acknowledge the promotion thus did not issue discount.

When called OCBC to check the promotion validity, OCBC agreed there was such an ongoing promotion and all they can say is they will forward feedback to relevant department and pushed it back to the merchant.

Ridiculous. And still have the cheek to insist on annual fee. Don’t waste people time. Just terminate the sickening card.
