N90 for foreign currency good for payment tat the gateway in sg but transaction in foreign currency

This is the worst bank in my opinion.
Their card rewards and privileges are terrible.
Very long wait on the phone for customer service assistance.
They tie up with merchants on their website and merchant refused to acknowledge the promotion thus did not issue discount.

When called OCBC to check the promotion validity, OCBC agreed there was such an ongoing promotion and all they can say is they will forward feedback to relevant department and pushed it back to the merchant.

Ridiculous. And still have the cheek to insist on annual fee. Don’t waste people time. Just terminate the sickening card.

They've changed a lot since 2017/2018. Their new strategy is to squeeze customers and to cut unprofitable ones.

OCBC have not make any problems for me until now so i still use them. Fee waivers are approved and i am getting the miles.

Effective 1 June 2020, 5 OCBC$ will be awarded for every S$5 spend (Base OCBC$) on all retail spend; and Bonus 45 OCBC$ will be awarded for every S$5 spend (Bonus OCBC$) on eligible MCCs and merchants.

All OCBC$ earned shall be calculated based on each block of S$5 charged to your Titanium Rewards Card per transaction, and cardmembers shall not be entitled to any partial or pro-rated award of any OCBC$ for any amount charged that does not amount to a S$5 block.

Amounts charged in multiple transactions will not be combined to make up a S$5 block.

Fyi made a purchase in Jan 20 from Louis Vuitton but not eligible for 10X due to change MCC code. 6 months ago still eligible... Abit disappointed and thinking to cancel... Not sure if the points can be transferred to 90n

Bought quite some bit of LV in Italy 2 mths back and all were not eligible super dissapointed. In the past would have counted as OCBC has confirmed b4 in post that LV qualifies but now not eligible. Damn sian...

Sorry to learn that your purchases were not granted 10X OCBC$.

10X OCBC$ depends on whether the merchant falls within the MCCs. If its MCC falls within any of the MCCs found in our FAQs OR one of the eligible merchants that we recognise, you will earn 10x OCBC$ for your purchases made at the store. However, if the merchant does not fall within any of the MCCs you will not earn 10x OCBC$ even if your transaction made contains for specific items relevant to the eligible categories.

As MCC codes are assigned by payment card organisations (e.g. Visa, MasterCard, American Express), we are unable to advise on the merchant MCC. We are unable to grant any exceptions if your purchase does not fall within the MCCs OR list of selected merchants.

2) earning close to 40k per annum for a 30k card (and also full time job holding)
