Just saw that cardholders can now convert voyage miles into krisflyer miles without having to pay the admin fee. Unlimited lounge access (+1 guest) has also been extended until the end of 2018.

The local retail spend earning rate had been increased to 1.6 voyage miles per $ for Voyage Premier, Voyage Premier Private Client and Bank of Singapore Voyage card members.

What little advantage this card had will be gone. Not worth the annual fee anymore.

Not so bad lah if you like using the Voyage exchange service. And also unlimited lounge access with one guest. However, their lounge reach not as wide as Priority Pass

If after 1st year and cc charged annual fee for 2nd year, can cancel the card without paying annual fee?

i don't think so, best is to cancel before renewal. I had experience like this with Voyage Card and also the CitiBank Prestige MasterCard

There is also no pro-rata refund if you pay the fee and cancel halfway

Two questions! (Hoping for CSO to confirm, but welcome any voices of experience too.)

1) http://ocbc.com/voyagepromo states that "the VOYAGE Miles earned under Clause 1.2.i.a and 1.2.i.b above will be converted to KrisFlyer Miles into the Principal VOYAGE Cardmember’s
KrisFlyer account" (referring to those who opt to pay $3,210 or $10,000). Is this still the case? Can the cardholder opt to keep the miles as VM instead?

2) https://www.ocbc.com/assets/pdf/car...overning-the-voyage-credit-card-programme.pdf is the $1: 1VM figure a typo? Or will DCC overseas really earn at a lower rate than even local general spend?
1.1.4 Overseas Retail and Dining Spend : earn 2.3 VOYAGE Miles for every S$1 equivalent charged in foreign currency to the Card. For the avoidance of doubt, any overseas retail and dining spend charged to the Card in Singapore dollars will earn VOYAGE Miles at a rate of S$1: 1 VOYAGE Mile...

Hi louist,

For miles awarded in the manners stated above, the Voyage miles have to be converted into KrisFlyer miles.

Spend in SGD overseas earns 1:1, which is as you've said, lower that local general spend.

When I signed up for the voyage card last October, VM was credited to my account, and I just received a call from OCBC telling me that they will transfer my VM to Krisflyer!

Hi Tiger9119,

For cardholders who had chosen the $3,210 or $10,000 annual fee option will have the Voyage miles converted to Krisflyer miles.

Should you have further queries on this, do drop us a PM.

Thank you.

OCBC should have emphasized krisflyer miles, not just miles.

From OCBC website:
Annual Service Fees & Charges
Principal card with the following Annual Service Fee options:
S$488 (with GST) with 15,000 complimentary VOYAGE Miles.
S$3,210 (with GST) with 150,000 Miles.
S$10,000 (with GST) with 500,000 Miles.

Hi Tiger9119,

Thank you for the feedback. We have shared this with the relevant department.

We would also like to share that this information is provided in the Voyage card application form, and https://www.ocbc.com/assets/pdf/cards/voyage 150k signup promo-terms-conditions.pdf

Hi Tiger9119,

Thank you for pointing this out.

The SGD spend overseas is now accorded 1.2 or 1.6 Voyage Miles, depending on the type of card.

You have rightly shared that this information is now available on our website and the terms and conditions.
