The move to mini LED makes it quite interesting for me as well. At least I feel this is more worth it than going with the Asus mini LED monitors which cost more if I am not mistaken.

As for the blacks, I think you need to be careful though. I can't recall how many zones there are, but considering that the iPad Pro 12 with mini LED and significantly more zones than any monitors out in the market, it was showing significant blooming side effect. I am not sure if that can be corrected by software, but each of the panel technology will have their pit falls.

Ya blooming is unavoidable even for miniled, but this G9 seems like a huge breakthrough from last year version

like going from ryzen 2000 to 5000

the price also not that bad when even compare to asus 32" 4K one.

those on old G9 can prepare to dump.

I will wait and see for now. It is quite tempting, but considering that last year's G9 seems to have quite a fair bit of issue, I think I will give it some time for the dust to settle and see if it is still worthwhile trying this may be by end of the year or early next year.

ya $3300 is quite a lot and the long curve seems unhealthy for work

we are in bad times when gpu also in $3k zone

but it does looks nice for gaming

The problem is if you get a monitor with such high resolution and refresh rate, it also means you need a capable GPU to keep up with it. So on top of a 3K plus monitor, you will need to shell out another 2K or more for a good GPU. So double whammy.
