Couldnt startup is a different thing as they wouldn't know what ROM is inside. Having started it, then, there is always a possibility of rejecting by stating that OS is not the default one. My suggestion would be to flash the original ROM before taking it to any CS.
Oppo does not lock the boot loader, which indirectly encourages you to ahead in modifying your ROM, kernel etc. But there is no official statement anywhere from them, stating that you can change the OS etc.
