I read that OPO find 7 are getting CM rom. Anyone holding find 7 got an update? Think of getting one if CM can be installed without rooting.

HTC One Max and Oppo Find 7 get CyanogenMod support - GSMArena Blog

CM11 by default comes with root. Hat you would need to do inorder to have the root removed is to delete its reference.

1.install custom recovery
2.install CM11
3. Delete all references to 'su' (sbin ans bin) and superuser.apk
4. Reboot.
5. Install enterprise apps that check for root.

Else you could use "Good for enterprise" exposed tweak.

Thanks for the reply. Will it void the warranty in this case?

Yes, before taking it to the CS, remember to flashback the OPPO recovery and install back the Color OS.

Above steps will bring it back to default setting :D

Couldnt startup is a different thing as they wouldn't know what ROM is inside. Having started it, then, there is always a possibility of rejecting by stating that OS is not the default one. My suggestion would be to flash the original ROM before taking it to any CS.

Oppo does not lock the boot loader, which indirectly encourages you to ahead in modifying your ROM, kernel etc. But there is no official statement anywhere from them, stating that you can change the OS etc.
