Sigh....Genius root seems to disable OTA updates even though it retains stock recovery. Think i will flash back to stock for updates only when major 4.4 kit kat update gets pushed out.

Hope all these small updates from time to time can lead to improved battery life for the Find 7.

Do u guys still use the normal charger after using the VOOC charger? Is it better to rotate the charging cycle?

Finally they fixed this screen sensitivity issue as discussed in oppo forums. I will get accidental click while scrolling, the touch delay setting doesn't solve this problem at all. Now, I will have to wait for it to be available in my custom ROM (Gummy).

Hey guys, any of you using OTG usb drive on the phone run into any problems? I read somewhere that some OTG flash drives does not have 100% commpatibility with all the android phones so wondering whether OPPO has any problems since its such an obscure brand. I have tried connecting normal flash drive to OTG cable to phone, and the default oppo file explorer cant seem to recognize the contents. Have to use external file explorer app then can read and access the drive. Looking to buy a OTG drive instead but not sure whether the phone will have any problems reading.

So it seems like Singtel has started to sell Oppo Find 7 on contract
https://www.singtelshop.com/mobile/phone-details.jsf?brandId=307&modelId=FIND7#plans

Is this a case of better late than never or too late too sad? M1 has done a terrible job of promoting the Find 7 and Find 7a despite them having a 2-3 months exclusive period of sales.
M1 did not help to boast the Oppo image...
(some roadshow to demo the set...along with other handset)

Also, Oppo is not doing enough marketing as well
(there are ads in cinema...right after G3 :~)

I felt that Oppo is being undermined.

Then it depends on us customers to give OPPO a shot of confidence and try supporting their products.

Am using the Find 7, and it's really a great product, comparable with the best on the market.

:) Great!

Am considering between the neo5 or the N1 mini myself.
As a complement to the Find 7. They both look and feel great... dilemma. :D

OPPO N1 mini vs OPPO Neo - Phone specs comparison

Oppo Neo 5 is an entry level phone while N1 Mini is a mid range.
I do find N1 mini costly...almost same price as Find 7a, which is n excellent piece of device

N1 mini, link N1, is a selfie phone.

Yeah. Still, the neo 5 specs are no slouch. they can definitely handle the daily chores without breaking a sweat. I might get the neo 5 since it comes in Black (am a sucker for Black color phones). :D

Makes a good spare if I need one in a pinch.
