Great to have a new member of the OPPO family :D

As you use the ColorOS more and more, you'll discover how easy it is.

Having a 5.5 inch display but can't thumb your way to the top to swipe down notification centre? No problem, just swipe down from any part of the display that your thumb can reach, and the notification centre drops down easy. How thoughtful is that!

Double tap screen from sleep to wake.
Double tap home button to sleep.
Never need to touch that power button again (then again the button is also easy to reach).

Everyday useful actions makes the experience great.

Hi....u guys not bother by the 3gb apps storage limit???

Nope. How many people actually need more than 3GB apps storage limit at any one time?

Chances are 90% of the apps installed hardly get any action, mostly get used once or twice and gets cold storage.

For the 10% that do need, just uninstall the ones that are no longer used or never used to free up space.

Has any bros tried flash cyanogen mod 11 ROM on the oppo find 7? If so, can you recommend which one? Did you flash the nightly? Lastly should I go for find 7 or 7a ? I get conflicting views on the battery life.

Thanks bros

Could always chg inthe setting...(phone storage). This will allow the heavy data move to phone...thus the gb is gd enough

Only CM11 nightly is for Find7. I am on it now ,the latest 2aug build. There is no CM11s for Find7 yet.
Find 7 battery life I deem satisfactory only averaging only 4-5 hours SOT. I guess the Higher consumption due its display. I have rooted phone n install xploit together with intelli3g n these greatly help the battery more or less unchanged overnight over 7-8 hours.

Conflicting view or not, believe in the vooc charger, u just need to give it 30 min and u will get 75% full back.

The 7 and 7a battery consumption are more or less the same.

Is CM11 stable enough to be use as a daily driver? Have you tried Gummy?

Yes and I have yet to face any serious issues or bugs
Gummy - no I haven't tested it yet
Not aware there is such a rom except for its twrp recovery

Thanks Benny, did the cm11 improve the battery significantly? I heard that cm11s gave the OPO superior battery life . Also is there double tap to wake for cm11?

Yes there is double tap to shutdown ( on taskbar) and wakeup ( anywhere on display) the display
Battery life is still average only about 4-5 hours SOT and is quite similar to original stock rom

no regrets! find 7a really feels plastic when compared to m8.

Thks bro, I m abit concerned on battery life as nowadays battery tahaness is impt to me cause I use my phone throughout the day intensively yet cannot live with small screen. Thought cm will give the oppo 7/7a better battery life but seems cannot also. Mayb will consider opo..... Hehe

i'm still choosing between opo or oppo find 7 but for now i am leaning more toward Find 7 side mainly because of the availability
