Basically you buy according to your usage, preference and budget. Whether this NMB is great or crap, it's subjective.

As for me, if I could, I would wait for the 2nd gen NMB. But my current MacBook (2006) is too old to be able to use the latest apps. So I have ordered because I need one now. I can live with what it's designed for.

While I understand it has its limitation, I read that the base model is able to handle light editing on Photoshop and even Final Cut. Running VM Is also possible but with some lag. Since I need to run windows through VM, I decided to upgrade to 1.3 GHz processor, which should be enough to ensure smooth running.

Personally I've seen and touched the NMB at Epicentre and love everything about it - it's sleek design, ultra thin and light weight, retina display, keyboard and Force Touch Pad. This NMB M processor computer is much better than the competitors based on the review I've read.

For now I just have to be patient and wait for another 4-5 weeks before I can get my hands on it.

1.1 to 1.3Ghz dun think the performance difference will be significant or worthwhile.

very interested to get one. just to check if anyone bought any USB C adapter/hub with usb ports to resolve the single port issue?

can share the address of the local store or online store?

much appreciated.

like this macbook alot. as currently holding the heavy 15-inch mid may 2015 macbook pro. maybe will get it next year when generation 2 is out.

hopes apple will make the current new keyboard even better or adding one more usb-c or other port to the macbook.

other than that, the new macbook is really damn good.

i dont see how adding another usb-c makes any "big" diff, cause after all u still need to buy adaptors.

it does make difference, the more ports, the more things can be connected. especially if they are on two different side, allow earlier organizing of the side for charging, the other side for adapters.

I said not a big diff.

Most adaptors allowed c type charging port.
