just managed to hoot a 256gb gold yesterday with a bro at $1550 (brand new singtel set)

installed boot camp windows 10, works perfectly, and the battery life is crazily good (working with Microsoft edge, chrome will kill the battery). Been using it for 1 hour 20 minutes, battery dropped 13%, just like a iPad but with full windows 10 functions.

btw, i'm running light duties, emails/ office/ surfing web/ streaming video.

just my 2 cents, good buy!

waiting for 2nd gen to hoot....:) i love this macbook.

you can go to carousell or hwz forum bazzar to look at it, its 10 - 20% cheaper than normal, as people sign up for the singtel plan and get the laptop to sell for $$$.

I collected it at the ORO collection centre with the rightfully owner, opened the sealed set together and passed him cash on the spot, fair and square.

$1550 is cosidered high already, ever seen a $1450 sealed set pushing for urgent encashement which i missed it!

May I know where u brought to get such a good price?

Download coconutBattery and use it to check the charging rate. Depending on the power bank and the cable, there are instances where it can indeed charge. It'll still be very slow however.

Hi all,

Had installed windows 10 on bootcamp on my wife's macbook and wifi unable to connect to 5Ghz band, 2.4Ghz ok.

Just wondering if anyone encountered same issue here and is there a solution for this?

Had been trying all mentioned solutions on the internet and even re-install fresh copy of windows but still the same.

TIA...;)

nope bro I tried 2 routers and still alright, my suspicion is your router itself, maybe you try to restart it or do a manual reset

The battery life with windows 10 trumps OSX hands down man, easily getting 2 hours shedding 20 - 25 % only, with light usage.

Guys... With the repairability score of just 1/10 from ifixit...i wonder if in case of issues, will there be a 1 to 1 exch at the service center like the ipads. The battery is glued on...what if need to replace battery... ?! Lol.... #justwondering
