i am also planning to get a macbook then boot camp. can ask bros here how did u get your win 10? i currently have win 7 but free upgrade is only for a year. after that if i reformat then no more able to get free win 10

just curious ... even no receipt apple will honor warranty right? like those won from raffle draw units?

was using a dual usb output 2.1A each innergie wall charger usually used to charge ipad with a usb c to usb A cable and so far it charges ok although abit slow, or maybe its maintaining charge. lol

too bulky already. if one needs to use so many ports, i would say he/she probably should not really get this portable retina macbook.

i will not totally dismiss this. some people like to have a dock hub while seated at their main desk. but in this case, it is only useful if your secondary screen has a usb-type c passthrough

It's for my home use. Whether it's bulky or not, you can keep your "negative" comments to yourself.

This is for people who needs convenience of power delivery and yet use USB drives, etc.

just wondering, if anyone had brought their 12" to a.lab or qlab for repairs. with the repairability score of 1 ( from ifixit), can they even repair anything ? 1 to 1 exch ? heh..... #iwish:s11:

i agree. even for other laptops, this can be very convenient. for myself, it is really a hassle having to plug in power cable, display and mouse cable each time i go to my main desk. having to just plug 1 cable helps a lot.

Not sure if the charging will overcharge or not though. =]

Gotta see more reviews.

yeah, wait for more reviews since it is owc. but chances are high since the dock itself requires external power.
