Quick question. Am using 6S plus. So if I change to i8, can my MAC iTunes restore all the photos I backed up using 6S into i8?

My iTunes is able to recognize 2 different phones and sync properly?

Yes. They are able to recongnize based on each of the device own ID (UDID). But on the user level, it allows you to choose from which iPhone, based on the name you’ve given.

When you restore the backup to a new iPhone, you can choose from which backup iTunes has made from the iPhone.

Also included is the time stamp of the last backup made by iTunes for the devices.

This phone will be in limited number, and because in the past we like to pawn ourselves due to greed, dun expect to get your hand on one that soon or at all.

Reckon ordering directly from Apple stands a higher chance ?

Rumours stating the base model of iPhone 8 (64GB) will cost an estimated US$999 (S$1350), but is expected due to newer technology.

The iPhone 7 Plus already cost $1588 for 256GB. Apple usually charges a premium for a better model and I expect 256GB of iPhone 8 to be around $1738 at least and 512GB (if any) to be close to $1888.

Don’t forget there is still iPhone 7s Plus so if Apple doesn’t increase the price, the price will remain at the current pricing.

64GB is more than enough storage for me. Just hope I can get my hands on the new iPhone as soon as possible :D

Speaking the obvious here but the 64GB will be the biggest hit.

It’s kind of a sweet spot for some that don’t take much photos or have too much of apps, yet still have quite an amount of space for future use.
Photos actually can be backed up easily to clean the storage, the most concern for me is what is the who storage space for the whole OS. Is it going to be very large?

Currently using my Android phone with 64gb I don't feel pressure on space. Not sure about iPhone.

Sent from NEXUS 6P using GAGT

Can use this OTG to backup photos. Just transfer over to an OTG with SD card and I can easily copy to PC.

Yeah so re-contracting plan like myself will cost even more than ever. Last year got my 7 Plus at over $700 liao, so now maybe over $800. :o
