I wouldn’t say directly as Apple wouldn’t sell their chip to others.

But it may start to make ppl question about the future of x86.

M1 is an ARM chip. Newest MS Surface also uses ARM chip. MS has unified Windows 10 for x86 and ARM.

Questions are - How fast will traditional or new Windows PC manufacturers roll out ARM desktops/laptops? What customer segments will buy?

I am not sure if that comparison can be made. Apple's ARM is fast and good, doesn't mean other ARM is fast and good.

The comparison is with Windows x86 PCs - same price point how much better is the performance, or same performance how much lower is the price point.

Other ARM chips won't run MacOS. Means nobody will buy them for hackintosh. People who want MacOS will buy Apple.

Android phones all use other ARM chips. Their performance good and keeps improving, becoz competition.
