Just arrived yesterday. My 4x 3400mah nitecore batteries haven't arrive, so went to get 4x 3100mah from black tactical!

Who wants to buy the 4x 3100mah 18650 batteries? Will be selling in 1 or 2 weeks time.

I just started collecting flashlights, the cree fenix PD35 not bad, small lightweight and bright.

Now I am just hunting for 18650 batteries, anyone got good recommendations especially now cannot ship in lithium ion batteries?

The Fenix PD35 has been getting rave reviews ever since its launch. Got one as soon as it was available. Overall, it has a nice grip and its size is neither too small nor too large. 850 lumens in the palm of your hand - quite literally - is pretty hard to beat. It's one of my EDC lights; the others being an Olight i3 EOS and an Xtar keychain light from fstoplights.

Steven (the guy who runs fstoplights), is my go-to guy for flashlights, batteries, chargers and other knick-knacks; knowledgeable, passionate and really friendly.

On the other hand, I'm thinking of letting go of my 2 other lights; Fenix LD12 (MKI and MKII; AFAIK, specs are the same with the only difference being their output - 115 lumens for the former, 125 lumens for the latter respectively). Drop me a PM if anybody's keen. :)

In other related news... 2 upcoming lights which have caught my eye:
Fenix E12
Fenix UC40 (Ultimate Edition)

Great to know that there are like-minded folks who are into flashlights as well. :D

Where can get pd35 in singapore? Or any online retailer with good price?

I got mine via fstoplights; but Steven only brought in one piece - which I eventually purchased. =:p

I recall TK Foto carrying the PD35, along with other Fenix flashlights and accessories. However, a visit to their outlet in Funan yielded the standard "whatever we have is all displayed here" type of response from one of the salespersons. So, yeah...

Alternatively, there's e(vil)bay. :spin:

Hope this helps! :D

No problem man, just glad to help! :) I think the salesperson was trying his best to cater to my needs/queries, but then again, his expertise was probably not in the area of flashlights.

True; unless the business is one which specialises in flashlights, outdoor gear, EDC stuff, etc. (i.e. Black Tactical, AIM Spec).

In my opinion, one of the many dilemmas for such shops is to either;

(a) stock one (or a minimal number) of "household" or "tried and tested" brands (in the case of the two aforementioned shops), or

(b) carry a whole range of brands to define yourself as a niche/specialist/enthusiast shop (in the case of fstoplights).
