I think it's ok to sic good lobang with people who shared the same interest.

I got my lite and accessories from Online Shopping for Cool Gadgets, RC helicopter & Quadcopter, Mobile phone, Fashion at Banggood.com. They have various discount coupon for different items. Just need to spend some time google for it. My P20 and charger were after 10% discount using code "bgfn"

Thanks for the info, magnus. Will be checking out that site. :)

*And I wonder why the funds in my bank account are diminishing...* :s22:

Nice shots magnus. Nitecore P20 is small and slim, good choice. Also good pick on the battery :)

I saw some of u buy those 4 cells big flashlights. For collection only or really got use in real life:s11: So big and few hundred dollars each. Though i'm impressed with their thousand lumens and beam distance.

For me i'm not really into collecting but on and off if i spot something nice and suitable i will get it. Mostly use it as a edc, nite trekking and traveling use.

Mostly just for the fun of it, and seeing how bright a handy light (large enough yet small enough to hold on hand) can produce. For practical uses, I find those AAA lights handy but a little weak. AA lights are also small and handy. Though nowadays I mostly use my cheap 1x18650 C8. Good combination of budget, throw and flood.

Some may choose to use it for overseas outdoor adventures/expeditions (trekking, Man-Vs-Wild/outdoor survival sort of stuff, etc.) It all depends on the individuals' needs, job scope, and such. Some see the purchase of such high-powered flashlights as an investment (often due to factors in relation to their jobs and/or livelihoods).

Like yourself, I use my lights mainly for EDC - and it has even come in handy during one of my previous reservist stints.

All in all, it's often based on the needs of the user(s).

Main usage for Singaporean:

Outdoor adventures (local or oversea) - trekking, mountain climbing, diving, etc.

For occupation - uniform groups such as army, home team, workers from light (workshop) to "medium" industry (shipping).

Leisure activites (general usage) - cycling, fishing, camping, photography, maintenance work, etc

Collectors - you know who you are ;P

People who own high lumens flashlights, usually already owned flashlights from most classes (10400, RCR123, AAA, AA, 18350 1x18650, ...)

charger wait for luc v4 2014 to have stock in singapore.
the 2014 is important, because the older v4 cutoff voltage is 4.23V!!!!!!

the v4 2014 cutoff voltage is 4.15V way safer.

i too, have the pana 18650b protected and too long for my old charger :(

too long also not good :p :p

I wonder why the Panasonic 18650b not using standard size. Heng i bought only one to try out first. What is the 2nd best option for a 3400mAh 18650 protected batt? As in which brand.

It is the additional of unbranded protecting circuit that is causing problem. Unprotected NCR18650 measured at 65mm in length.

got a olight s20 baton and 2 olight 3400mah during recent massdrop. their batteries fits the nitecore d2 charger that i recently acquired (the spring can still stretch a little)

note that if you are interested in the nitecore d2 charger, the buttons "clicks" rather loudly when pressed
