In a sprawling empire like DCG, u think it's possible to micromanage every dept? Kudos to coindesk for sexposing the scumbag that's FTX, it was a fraudulent business that deserves to die.

This is a management issue.

They have to sort it out themselves.

Yeah even if FTX can escape for now but probably not in future.

Now (my suggestion) u guys can just pause a bit. don't touch cryptos. I am now focusing my smalltime investment in nfts. Not bad at least i make about 200 per month. i bought a wacom tablet and do some doodles like landscape and portrait cartoons and put on opensea. got ppl buy one if u price at ten dollars or eight dollars.

Wah you got community liao? I didn't use Opensea since I was skeptical about my chances over there. Making 200 dollars per month on Opensea is impressive nonetheless.

I am still waiting for jpg.store to approve my re-entry into their launchpad for cohort 5. So far so good, no rejection email yet. See how.
I also got approached by a Cardano-based DAO, they want to evaluate if their members are willing to acquire my art piece for their treasury.

On top of that, I still prefer to work on my javascript-based art for fxhash marketplace.

it does not need money. i just mint and set the price to 8 dollars. only when ppl buy then they charge a bit of money.

That is good! I don't have community set up yet. Just the gallery and many people give likes and it is increasing. Slowly lor. When i am freeer next month while on leave i will build my nft instagram site.

It will cost some money to mint on other marketplaces (eg Foundation).
If you do custom contracts using Manifold, you still need to pay gas fees even if the mint cost is zero.

So the process is, create a picture, upload to opensea, and wait for ppl to mint it into an NFT?

I might try it out just for fun, see if can make a few bucks

yup, bro. i started to try during the time when b1gqing made 5 million from her DAO so i thought it is very interesting. i then follow the instructions on a youtube like setup the metamask and all that. a bit a bit ask people on twitter and try lor. i tried to draw another type of monkey but it was horribly drawn. so i gave up trying to mimic the ape sheet. then a digital artist told me to buy a wacom tablet and create my own picture. that was how i started to draw.
