i think the hike is expected since all bike brands did that.like giant, scott ,trek.
lucky i got my bike setup early last year.

my xt brakeset cost below 400 at special pricing since i setup my bike at this LBS which i know very well

try Two Wheel Action at Clementi, C2C at AMK, TEF opp Thomson Med Centre or SCH at Tampines for Kool Stop

i'm not sure where to get Swiss Stop but i heard they're pretty good for road bike brakes.

how much is that bat pod?

Hmm.. to date probably costs $5k+

Stock Anthem 1 (2008) was about $3.6k, then upgraded the Fox F100RL fork to the F100RLC, added Crank Bros Eggbeaters and a pair of Specialized MTB Comp shoes, came up to about $4k.

Mods later down the line are:

- Koolstop brakepads, $50+?
- 410mm Thomson laidback seatpost, $115 iirc
- XTR hubs + Stan's NoTubes Olympic ZTR rims with Wheelsmith spokes and XT rotors, close to $700
- Maxxis Advantage tubeless tyres: $110/pair
- Various accessories, $$?

Other than that, the bike's pretty much stock. :D

That is a beautiful bike:eek:. How much is it and is this bike suitable for stunts?

if i am not wrong, its 2008 Ava 2.0 and cost maybe say $700++ for stock parts.

the bike in this pic has majority XT parts on it

shifters, brakesets, hubs, RD, FR, chain, and the cassette looks like XTR to me....

so cost lots than $700++

the frame is stiff and maybe a bit haeavy for stunts ... :D
