polygon is 7 speed and jamis abit more branded.

Polygon machiam like those ECP rental bike.

Specs wise polygon give the best value.

Frame wise, i go for the Jamis.

I said go for the Jamis la. Both the parts are entry level and nothing to salvage if u want to upgrade to another frame in future.

"Mechanical brakes" means disc brakes? Hmm, yeah, I really don't see myself going offroad (trails) in the near future actually.
