Recently got a call back for a position i applied & was asked some interview questions over the phone. A few days later, they called again to arrange for second interview.

How to prepare for second interview? As in, what will be the interview questions to antipate?

Can always employ their own people who are PR holders. Nothing wrong. PRs are foreigners but somehow are labelled under "local employees" based on MOM guidelines.

Just like my workplace. My entire department there is only 1 real local, which is me. Entire company probably no more than 20% are real locals.
I joined one big4, and got a shock of my life. My dept, out of 5 team leads, 4 is from msian, and I'm under the sinkie lead, who is the most junior in terms of years staying there.

And out of the 10 people dept. 7 are female, only 3 male including myself. I left shortly after that sensing the environment wasn't for me

2nd interview should be under high management level liao, not much technical rather than term and condition. Good luck!

Recently got 2 offers not sure which to choose.

  1. Different industry from where I am now, 18% paycut. Need to managed a team. Stable MNC company with AWS and VB.
  2. No paycut. Similar industry from where I am now but higher risk of losing job since it's a startup and. No AWS or VB.
Welcome all inputs
Depends on your financial situation.
If need money, option 2.
If don't need money and want to be satki manager, option 1.

The phone interview isn't considered first round... It's just pre screening by hr only usually...

The main interview will be hiring manager... Then if there are subsequent interviews will be with higher ups or peers

Is it ok to find job during maternity leave? Need to disclose to interviewer or not? Will it leave bad impression?

So many people around me tell me the job market is great, many jobs, easy to find etc...

But I have been monitoring JobStreet, MCF and Linkedin every single day since last year...I dont feel the job market is strong...

Or I am just purely super unlucky...

I thought if you are a female, you'll realize it'll become heavily political for you. As a male, just watch the world burn.
