Just to understand of some terms stated:

Lease commencement date is it referred as the date for the move in? Can it be started from the date rather getting the keys? Saw some ppl staying there
(Not intending to move in yet)

ROF may not have options to option what the house would have like tiles etc.. is it true?

CPF grants only given once ROM cert is provided? Will it review again once upon collection of keys of both our income?

Hi,

Lease commencement date referring to the date you had the Keys.

ROF are like Sales of Balance flats so don't have the option for tiles etc..
Unless the project yet to complete.

As for CPF grants couldn't advise you.

Can I check if my flat selection in may and my hle valid till 31st may.. When I go for for collection of key I need to re apply the hle again? ?

Yeap.. it's best to apply for HLE at least 2 weeks before your your flat selection.. as most SBF flats are ready for key collection, most prob your next appnt would be 10 to 12 weeks after the flat selection date and can collect key as well.. your lastest HLE could be use till then

Hi! May I ask if anyone could share their experience during flat selection day? Like if you will be shown any flat impressions, if OCS is opted for on the same day etc. Thanks!

You need to print your appointment letter, sign the relevant sections and bring original and copies of the documents they request which is all listed inside the appointment letter.

You should have picked a flat that you want before the selection. They will only provide you with the floorplans of the unit you selected. I wasn't given a choice of OCS for my flat as it was key ready and you have to check with the officer if there is any for the flat you want. I believe that OCS option is not available for RoF but I'm not sure if it's still available for units still under construction.

So the entire process for me was to tell the officer which unit I was interested in, confirmed it was available and I was eligible for it. She then printed out the documents needed, verified my documents, signed paperwork and paid the deposit. She told me what to expect from then on and what was included in the flat.
