Don't pass loose statement so soon. I will get to the bottom of it and action will be taken against those violated the TOS or house rules.

I've never met anyone in this sub forum, no strings attached nor bad blood with any particular member. My SOP of investigation are usually thorough and search all replies of the member, violator could end up with 36 points permanent banned with enough offending posts/replies without going through t-banned. No action this far does not equate to favoritism or taking sides, neither am I under the payroll of any particular member.

Thus, keep your comments for the time being.

The personal attacks keep coming so what are you gonna do about it? What loose statements? It's happening right in front of you in the last few pages. While we mortals get warning and banned other(s) can **** whoever they like ban whoever they like and still yayapapaya.

Risk management is a science with quantifiable numbers. Anything else is simply guessing. There are a few numbers you can look at: )Win Loss Ratios 2)Absolute drawdown 2)Relative drawdown 3)Average win/loss size 4)Largest win/loss size 5) Average consecutive wins/losses... the list goes on and on depending on what you are trying to achieve.

yes... u can often read that the most profitable forex traders actually only have around a 40% win rate..

In today's forex market, it's challenging to be profitable with anything less than a 50% win rate. I'm assuming that the literature indicating that you can be profitable with less then 50% win rate refer to trend trading strategies. Most research I read (including my own back testing) indicate that trend following systems have been a losing proposition since ard 2010. The reason is simple, trends are now much shorter than they used to be. Sure you get some "gurus" saying you can win with a 40% win rate, but cant really show any RECENT evidence to back the claim.

true but risk management only works later on... for me I think increasing ur winning rate is more important, before risk management.. cos u can have very good management but if ur winning rate is <50% like u said, will still be a hard mountain to climb

Canberra and his clones have fool you into a merry-go-round and you are better off going to the casino with him. Come back only when you have a clear mind. Because trading forex you need to see what tricks the big boys have up their sleeves. You are seriously not there yet.

Canberra may suck with trading to some of you but at least hes not trying to get anything from us.

The project?

Aim for 3% growth a day. High risk, aggressive means necessary. Chances of blowing up entire account definitely there. But you only need small capital. Using just SGD 3,000, compound it 3% daily for 200 trading days and you hit 1 million.

Chances of success? Low. Near 0%. But what's the worst to happen? You blow up SGD 3,000. If you are a true trader, that's nothing.

Personally, I am using SGD 3,767 (there's a stupid story behind this figure lol).
