No Stop Loss Strategy

Don't understand this part. Probably should read up more to follow.

Take note my opinions only apply to Forex not stocks and bonds because stocks and bonds can go to zero.

What I meant by perpetual carry trade is rollover your position until it recovers and then close it with a profit. Repeat the same thing again for any stucked positions.

Offsetting unrealised loss means as long as you do not cut loss wastefully. Over the long run your capital is preserved plus your daily winnings will have already offset so called 'unrealised loss'.

The conventional thinking to cutting loss is to make up for opportunity cost. However how many times have this occured before? If you ever need to place stop loss that means you are telling yourself subconciously your entry price is lousy.

I believe many have experienced the following many times!

Eg. Open long position. Stop loss 20 pips. Stop triggered. You thought to yourself ok since it is down trend you shall open a short position to ride the wave. Stop triggered again because the market moves in mysterious ways or big boys doing stops hunting and manipulating. You have just wasted 40 pips for nothing. Your capital is poorer by 40 pips. If you do this frequently enough you are on your way to losing money instead of profiting.

I have a feeling that they have some sort of super machine that captures where all the traders are placing trades, SL/TP levels and uses that against the majority of the herd...

Similiar like last time there was this gambling game where punters place their bets on a certain number and in the end, only the one that the least ppl placed a bet on will win money...

they made it in such a way that the numbers that most of the ppl place their bets on will never be picked to open , thats how the majority of the punters will always lose money to the house... (i forgot the name of this gambling game)

Markets Are Rigged

This 'super machine' theory is a little far fetched. By the way institutions already can see where the orders are on their terminal. You ever hear institutions lose money before? :s13:

However what I do know is the big boys (institutions) are the ones calling the shots. As explained in depth by this successful pro trader (Andre Minassian) in that video clip.

Some of you guys may remember earlier this year that I mentioned the big boys are aiming 1.20 for EUR/USD. Viola it really happened in September. This game is rigged and they will make it known public well in advance either subtlely or blatantly. :s13:

Look at Uncle Trump and US generals dropping hints every now and then. They are preparing for war with North Korea. This is just one of the current geopolitical trends.

Are the Markets a Casino? Is Trading Gambling?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpjtEODPBJ4

Make sure to approach all trades with a winning attitude. Most traders end up lose money. Most traders lose money due to stop losses or by listening to analysts or they look at the market as a casino which they shouldn't.

No stop loss. Try to believe. :s13:

You will say it is crazy until you have tried it with real money and going through the brutal unrealised loss of 1000 pips or more. This is how the big boys make money. Up and down, up and down to take out all stops to hunt for liquidity. :D

ya.. no stop loss is a valid strategy but it takes a lot of balls or maybe if u don't leverage so much so that you can top up enough for margin calls then ok..

its like if USD/SGD is 1.35 today and 1.20 next week.. it is quite impossible that it wont go back up to 1.35 unless something major happens to the US.. so u just long it and wait and wait for it to go back up, even if it drops down from 1.20 to 1.10 , it also doesn't matter because it will definitely go back up eventually

easy to say but not easy to do also, cos once u long it at 1.20 and it drops to 1.10 u will be pissing ur pants seeing the red

but what I don't like is the holding cost while u wait for it to go back up..
