It is grid with a bit of martingale to counter. Never take a loss like my motto. Just manage your lot size and I think I have mentioned a long time ago of $1000 per micro to withstand any drawdown.

So say you think kiwi H4 is uptrend then you long. 20 pips against you hedge half another 20 pips then full hedge. Then you are safe and free to take smaller lots in between. Not very difficult actually.

We do not hedge our positions. We will always TP, SL or closed before TP SL. If we are wrong, we will take the losses straight away. Trades on average do not last longer than 4 hours, very much shorter, so it's in and out, very clear cut.

So far this month, we are behind the projected return, as we suffered much losses 1st half of the month. We will need Oct month to hopefully catch up. We have 12 months to do it. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

Actually, looking to hit 60+% each month for 12 months, is a sprint for 16km. Very very hard unless you are a Kenya level trader.

Looks like my no stop loss account with no set target ROI is more feasible in the long run. No pressure to perform. Just scalp like playing video games. :s13:

The statistics speak for itself. :D

Profit/Loss (Realised)
30/06/16 - 30/06/17: [2016 ROI 27.61%: S$4003.67]
31/07/17: S$1264.09 [ROI 8.42%]
31/08/17: S$5806.60 [ROI 38.71%]
22/09/17: S$3519.05 [ROI 17.59%]

After 2-3 loss dun think you can trade the same lot size again. Human emotions sets in, pressure to win and cloud judgment will deter you making as much profit as your loss. You can't afford the next loss as equity drawdown so if you dun hedge then there is always a danger of losing the account. 4hrs is a bit too long for big lot size. You want clear cut its 90 secs. Not advisable to expose your ass too long in the market as it's too big a target board. Right or wrong 2 minutes is all you need. The rest is up to you good luck.

True also, we shall call it a Crazy marathon. Never try never know.

Your stats looking good with all the realised profits. Throw in the floating losses, still looking good. Challenges as mentioned before, is the process of recovering/ squaring off the floating positions.

Lot sizes will be adjusted with the equity. If lost, lower it, if win, increase it. No human emotions at all. We set the rules, and it will trade accordingly. We set what we can stomach. As mentioned, the worst case scenario is USD $500 + USD $500 backup fund. No stress losing all. If we managed to grow it, then we will be trading bank's money. Trading with profits, that liberate us to just trading and no stress of losing.
If our trades are all 90 sec, then it will be consider as toxic to brokers. And if you are profitable, they may have some rules set on you. For strategy with 90 sec or lesser duration, you need to talk to your broker to arrange some form of customized feed for you. This is another topic all together, which we shall not start.

can try but your target set too high from my view. If let say your able to grow the capital, when it grow big then the risk is higher and higher too, few bad move may throw all the profit in drain, but if too conservative , is quite hard to get what your target.

When we grow the capital, the trading risk does not get higher. It maintains the same as the one we set out. It is the risk of losing a bigger absolute amount that is at risk. But that's bank's money. Of course, if we grow it to 50k, then we loses 10k, it will hurt, as we are human. But we have to stay clam and move on. To mitigate this, we can always withdraw some money for personal use. This will help balance the emotion.
Target is crazily high, and even if we fall short, the results are pretty amazing as well.

when talk about emotion, is really the biggest issue on trading for human, better way I think is use Robot trading which is autotrading, I remember you did mentioned before your are using your friend's system, is it autotrading ?

Yes, auto-trading. We set the perimeters, and the system take over. We will then monitor and intervene if necessary.

Anyone trades commodities like wheat, sugar, coffee etc?

Feel that the holding cost for them are super high compared to forex pairs
