UOB Gold Price

Buy Liao GPGT........haha

The window to buy gold at near bottom is open. Buying on dips and sell on rally around mid 2017.

Bought Argor Cast Bar 100GM at S$5355.00. Just come back and saw the price drop to S$5325.00. :s13: Now holding it in my hand I feel very happy and song.

One small piece like a rectangular chocolate is quite heavy. Imagine 1 kilobar even more heavy! :D

UOB Bank (Raffles Place)
Level B1

Inflation is coming in 2017. Hold real estate and precious metals to hedge hahaha. :D

Just press a queue ticket and buy. Whole process takes less than 10min. Buy and f*ck off. You can sell back to UOB as long as you do not remove plastic seal.

What locker? You are not opening a Safe Deposit Box. I know there are many so called gold vault sellers that provide free storage but I prefer to buy from UOB. Hassle free and most importantly WILL NOT UP LORRY. :s13:

Rate hike = USD spike

So game plan is to LONG USD.

You have to open position before announcement. Once news release is too late to catch the first wave.

i see. so with these kind of events u hv to be in ardy without much technical
charting hints?

eg eur/usd was quite flat before the announcement. with no signal u will short it becoz u think usd will strengthen?

During high volatilty period when important data is released price movement for the first minute is very chaotic. You can throw TA analysis out the window.

Analyse and make your own judgement on what position you want to take. :)

Once data is release is more like online gaming ala Counterstrike. Frag as much as you can. BUY and SELL, SELL and BUY multiple times until the dust settled. I scored hundreds of pips this way. That is why I love volatility because can instant huat in the shortest amount of time. This morning between 3:00-5:00am I made 200 pips. :D

But of course no one is perfect. Have one NZD/USD position stuck and down -80 pips at this moment.

Anyway there are some haters on my trading style/strategy hahaha. No stop loss and carry trade for months if position stuck. Please take note my method is not suitable for everyone. What works for me may not work for you. :D

Just like some people say I am crazy and daring because my major CNY cash holdings are parked offshore. :s13:

Do not buy from China. I think not tax free. Also if the amount worth is more than RMB20,000 you will have problem taking it out when leaving from China Airports but have ways lah if you know how.

Only buy investment grade silver/gold bars in Singapore or Hong Kong. Singapore no 7% GST for investment grade precious metals. Hong Kong is tax free for anything except for property stamp duties haha. In Hong Kong you need proof of residence, work permit or bank account in order to buy gold from banks.

As for for silver/gold coins you are paying premium for design, worksmanship and so call collector novelty which is bullsh*t. Spread loss higher than silver/gold bars. When you try to sell it then you will realise the price sucks.

I would rather buy those Ah Long style thick gold bracelet to wear than gold coins hahahaha! :D
