Quoted from his blog (Deleted) (http://fredperrysale.blogspot.com),

Hi everyone!

Thanks for your persistent support and continual discussion to the benefit of all consumers by everyone in the hardwarezone forum or here.

Here's a personal message from myself to every of my buyers, critics and non-believers:

1. Authenticity

1.1 Credible supplier

These old stocks once posted were from a UK wholesaler, destined to be exported in parallel to South American market. They have been a credible source and own distributorship rights to North American markets but not Asia, which explains why I can't openly declare their identity as it would have been a breach of contract. As Fred Perry fans can attest to, in the recent two years, Fred Perry had revamped their buttons, wash tags and cutting, these old stocks became impasse and thus one of my buyers spotted the deal and hopped on the bandwagon to give it a try.

1.2 Quality

It had been guaranteed by the supplier and my purchaser and I had strongly advocated that you can bring your Fred Perry polo to any boutique to verify its authenticity. However, we can't bring in recent designs and latest batches of Fred Perry because we honour the distributorship rights of Amnesty, also Singapore's official distributor. These old stocks are meant for fred perry lovers who might love the old colours and designs that cannot be found in the boutiques.

1.3 Rights

Most importantly, on the basis of distributorship, my company is not an official distributor. So actually if you are aware of business law, my company assumes the role of a reseller. As a reseller, I had personally met customers to ensure that they are fully satisfied before purchases.

2. Purpose

2.1 Target

We target students as our main customers as we believe that fashion is expensive (for the great designs and professional designers working 24/7) yet we believe everyone should have an avenue to looking good. Affordable prices, which are already very attractive considering its cost are provided. And we encouraged those who can afford them not to discriminate against people who want to own a Fred Perry too but not willing to splurge in boutique.

2.2 Property Rights

We respect property rights and would not have advertised or even bought the old stocks if they are not genuine. We would do better bringing in new designs to appease everyone but at the expense of the local distributor who had been affected more by online shopping platforms like asos.com. If you love the real thing and respect property rights, get at the boutique. For designs not available, then order online.

That summarized what I wanted to express on behalf of everyone in the company. I am very pleased that in-depth discussion are held and respect the hardworking souls sharing information that renders everyone a more well-informed customer, which also explains why I always add the link to discussion thread by rahman to interested buyers for their perusal since the discussion begun.

Right now, we are overseas meeting wholesalers of different apparels. If you have any feedbacks, do post anywhere here be it negative or positive cos no views are stupid :) We realised we had been too silent as one of my buyers smsed me tonight, prompting me to take a look at the discussion. Also please inform us here of which aspect of the polo you think is not genuine so that we can immediately feedback to our supplier for their replies.

Thank you for all your kind attention! :)

Best Regards,

Damion

Dearest all,

Let us look at the positive side, the user damiontay, is bringing in cheap and affordable apparels for the benefit of everyone. However, I would like to bring his attention and for all aspiring sellers of the potential risks ahead.

Despite assurance from supplier that the apparels are authentic & from credible source, the resller should be hold liable for all problems arised since they're the one who imported these stocks. It does not work by pushing the blame/fault to supplier when something goes wrong (such as the hoo-haa created by Mistic, junkieboy / Brannington and juno-EE)

Regarding authenticity verifications at Fred Perry boutiques, do consider the following: How qualified are the staff (Few full-timers and mostly part-timers)? Do note that there're good replicas in the market though still not 1:1 compared to the authentic ones. PM me for detailed analysis of the fakes.

I reckon everyone including myself love to buy good stuff at good price however do beware of where you are getting from and who you are dealing with. My last advice to damiontay is I do not think anyone out there want to pin-point or bombard you; nothing personal. Do accept constructive feedback, deal with them in a mature manner and all this is part of the learning process.

Welcome all constructive feedback/comments.

"我操! 我们抵制假货!We F*** The FakeSh*t!"

"deal with them in a mature manner"

babe, u are too harsh to damion tay la. by the way, "do accept constructive feedback". on the way, constructive or not, "you be the judge".

beaming with childish pride,
margmarg

Too harsh? Should I kept silent instead? I just can't tolerate anyone selling fakes. Alhough I am confident that his stocks are non-authentic, the door are wide open for him to clarify (Rahman could have wrongly accused him)

He did so with a 579 words reply on his blog (View his reply and my response at http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showpost.php?p=56206247&postcount=5768)

However as of today the seller has yet to get back to a simple request by melv in his chatbox (View screen capture at http://www.photolap.com/free-photo-sharing-00/1938untitled.GIF). Assuming he have missed out that question, I even reminded him in his thread (http://forums.hardwarezone.com.sg/showpost.php?p=56204707&postcount=11).

Its simply fishy since he've the time to write the 579 words reply but could not respond to a simple request. In addition, his blog was shuted down for unknown reason.

The sale didn't seemed to be as good as last year one. I remembered last year a polo tee is roughly 60 SGD incld shipping. Anyone agree with me? O: Or may be it the sale isn't at its best price yet? lol.
