xcqjas.jpg

is that a made in singapore FP? :s31:

Yes!

is it the buttons? the other details look fine to me..

Mooshop21, you got it correct!

buy the collaboration type like Raf Simon, Judy Blame, etc ... so far have not see good quality fake for those polos.

or go for those with very bright nice colours .... if is me, i will skip the black polo with red/white tips that kind of series, ... those very easy to produce "cheong" ..

i totally agree! buy those that are not the norm twin tipped types, i usually go for their knit polos, degraded collar polos or even those MIJ ones which ish welly nice! =:p

haha i tink so too bro! i mean no pt buying something tat i'll know its gonna be common and can be a fake, rather buy something dats unique that the pirates seldom replicate. bt of course, it will def cost more then the usual std ones.

Fully agreed!

the fakes look so real, i really don't mind buying them at a 10x cheaper price.

who the hell would go to examine your thread/button on the streets?

even the friends you go out with won't even bother to give a 2nd look at your fred perry shirt.

Had a good laff spotting many wearing FAKE PERRY lately. Pity those who thought they've got the real deal but in fact wasn't. Further pity those who don't mind wearing a FAKE PERRY.

Dispise those black-heart-liver seller who's selling FAKE PERRY! There are a handful of active FAKE PERRY sellers operating through blog shops and other local forums. Some of them actually 'migrated' from HWZ, after their rice bowl here are trashed.

My kudos to HWZ moderators for their efforts in keeping this community clean from FAKE FP!

To all the FP veteran here, how much does a FP twin tipped polo at ION or Ann Siang cost?

As quoted from Rahman's post, dated 09-01-2010

MIJ is not exclusive to Isetan Scotts. FP at Ion Orchard also got MIJ.

Price guide:

$149 for MIC twin tipped polo (Regular / Slim Fit)

$189 & above for MIJ twin tipped

$189 & above for MIE twin tipped

As in the size guide is for people with chest of 38 inch or they mean that the clothes measurement across the chest is 38inch, which means 19inch front and 19inch back.

Shopping online would means that fit and sizing will always be more of an issue than shopping in conventional stores, as it is impossible to try before you buy. To combat this problem, it's easier to window-shop locally first and then purchase it on-line.

Local sizing is the same as UK's one? I thought UK and Asia sizing different, so nv go check local store out!

They have most of them, but before this you may need to do the necessary 'homework' regarding what you intend to buy E.g. if it is a MIC or MIJ or MIE or MII

FP from Thailand. Rahman is laff-in out loud!

Rahman wish it is authentic but sad to say its 'highly questionable'.

Apparently, this seller got it off eBay around GBP25 (Look at his feedback). You need to beware and check extensively for any Fred Perry M1200 which is made in Portugal. It is likely to bear the same problems as those so-called 5-6 years ago stocks which sometimes ago, in 2009, few sellers are selling in HWZ and their threads are all locked by moderators over some issues.

For the benefits of those who're unaware of the 'highly questionable' M1200 MIP, do read my post on 9 September 2009 as quoted below:

Sharing below info and pictures with all~

Made in Portugal [MIP] M1200 series

Take note of the size label threading colors

According to Fred Perry's Ecommerce Manager reply:

According to Fred Perry's Nottingham Store Manager reply, the thread color should match the size label color which is navy

In other words, any M1200 MIP even if BNWT = either authentic dead stocks or AAA-grade replica. Buy at your own risk. In my opinion, even if its authentic but going at S$90/pc I would rather spent abit more to buy from official site where you get 100% genuine new stuff. If they're M1200 MIC, $90/pc seems to be a good deal provided got XS/S since most of us aim for these sizes.

Anyone knows whether I can be a FP member if I have 2 receipt of total $445? 1 is $296 after a 15% discount. Another 1 is $149 nett price.
