I am right. Another resorting to insulting.

Yes and no.

I can see the efficacies of some policies of PAP.
I do think some PAP people are really good.

Sorry but the way PAP supporters carry themselves is unbecoming.
Not the silent and couldn't be bothered to argue stereotype u are trying to cast. There are a handful whom I see can hold their arguments well.
Majority, dogs. Sorry daft dogs.

You’re only good at insulting.

Many in the silent majority are those who are apathetic.

Changes are of no appeal to them.
The ideas of the opposition do not appeal to them.

As long as the ceteris parabus is sustained for their life, the incumbent gets a vote. The incumbent can be a stray cat, a flower pot or an East coast rapper. It doesn't matter.

The thing is they go around calling every pap supporter an IB. Anyway why label a pap supporter as IB? Cannot agree to disagree?

Not every oppies resort to personal attacks and sort.
Calling one an ib is not a personal attack.
To be fair, there are trolls and pretenders on both side and they stir emotions carrying false flags.

If PAP is serious about SK, they will send HSK there.

SK suffers from high cost of living. But each election, they promised hawker centers, but nothing happens. To lower the cost of food in SK, we should have one hawker center at each precinct.

Look at SK sports complex. After almost 15 years, there is still no covered walkway to the bus stop or LRT station.

Then look at the condition of SK Interchange, it seems to be permanently under repair. Try crossing the overhead bridge from Sengkang interchange to Compassvale interchange, you can see how they save in cleaning cost.

Did I say you’re the one? Anyway I am just stating my observations through a few elections. It’s ok if you don’t agree. But don’t resort to names callings. Can’t control yourself and have to resort to names calling?

Lets not derail thia thread.

What we should do is to raise the profile of WP candidate Jamus Lim(?) to more pple.

There are probably tons of political apathetic people that will just vote for PAP no matter what candidates they field

A lot of people online have been wowed by Jamus in the debate last night which is a good thing, however I feel like their flaw is that they haven’t really described what they will do to improve Sengkang. PAP’s pamphlet outlined all the plans they have for Sengkang, whereas WP’s pamphlet just outlined their manifesto key points. I think at the end of the day, voters are still most concerned about the facilities and amenities that are available in their constituency, and they don’t really care about big national issues and stuff like having more opposition representation in Parliament which WP keeps harping on. So I feel like this may hurt WP’s chances in Sengkang as the voters here may be more attracted by PAP’s plans for the upgrading in Sengkang instead.

The development plans are mostly confirmed plans since 2 years ago. The currently on going projects. Not new projects. The projects are mainly HDB, NPark and PA initiated. Even if WP wins, they do not have much influence over these agencies.

The point to ponder is, are these so called plans initiated by our current mp? Or are they part of the Sengkang master plan under URA and HDB? Give credits to correct people.

Of course you can. It shows I am right. You are only good at names calling.

But i think Jamus Lim alone will not be able to make enough impact.

There is a Malay Candidate (Raeesah Khan). Hope she got chance to speak and increase her profile as well

I know to whom my vote will go to, but it's gonna be hard to convince the pg/mg. They still have the old thinking

If SK is still 50% older citizens then WP won’t have a chance because while Jamus is such a solid candidate, will the aunties; uncles; ah gongs; ah mas be able to relate to him?
