Back then..for the Sterling silver 1 u can buy the buckle on it's own.

Worth or not is up to you, it costs as much as a normal H belt...just for the buckle. So....if you really like the design then go ahead

i doubt it alltjougt i havent really stress test it
as long as is a rea lleather it wont peel if u maint it well
maybe with leather oil
and u can prolong it longer lor

It will peel slowly especially at the rear (or center of the strap) where most stress is when you sit, due to abrasion with belt loop.
