ios7 is excellent, but if apple dont increase the screen size for iphone, i dont see how they can capture back the lost market shares.

if you look at different independent censuses, the numbers between apple and android devices (& other small players like windows/bb) aren't very far apart. both manufacturers (apple & samsung) will always choose those that puts them in the best possible light.

one thing i like about apple is that they do things on their own account and not to follow the trends. time will tell who wins or not, but looking at the adoption rate of iOS and OS X, i think apple is not to be counted out.

edit: and there are people who don't really mind the 4" screen, in fact welcome in. i count myself in this number. who wants to lug a bloody note ii in your pocket to work? that's just absurd, or you're just really big.

if apple gives us 2 choices - one 5 inch screen and one 4 inch screen, i confirmed taking 5 inch screen. I want a change.

Yes the key thing is .. Choices.
They have iPad and iPad mini.
Next they need to have iPhone and iPhone maxi. 4" and 5" with ios7 ...

@snoweagle I'm glad they did, this would be one version everyone would definitely know whether they did upgrade or not.. They could have chosen a better name for us non-Californians though..

Anyway, is anyone going to try to install iOS 7 or even Mavericks on their devices? Devs and non-devs alike

I am. I always upgrade my OSs to the latest versions, regardless of iOS or OS X and seems like these two are pretty promising.

I really love the way apple repackage ideas borrowed from other os.

They didn't make you felt the ideas were cheaply ripped off from other os. U can feel the amount of hard work put into it after the ideas were borrowed.

Indeed. Apple is still following this tradition religiously. Even in today's presentation.

my main question: GOT SHARED APP INTEGRATION BO???

shared app integration = sharing capability between apps, for example select pictures from gallery and share to other apps like WhatsApp, etc.

The Control Center looks very un-Apple. Too cluttered and complicated.

Other than that, it's very beautiful, sleek and simple.

Yeah finally. Apple is always that slow to implement the market trend/goodies but once implemented, they did a hell of a good job.
