it says Devices updated to iOS 7 beta can not be restored to earlier versions of iOS. Registered development devices will be able to upgrade to future beta releases and the final iOS 7 software

i think they take in feedback to improve.

if u observe properly, it is still different from WP and Android, it's not flat neither it is tiled. they took away the borders and give the fonts a weight job, which only can be achieved on hi-res display. try using helvetica neue ultra light on normal monitor, it is not appealing or usable.

let's take a more objective approach, each coy, whether it is Apple, Google or Microsoft, their design teams work separately to converge to a modern design which ppl are looking for.

Looking good .. Gives apple diehard something to cheer about as our iphone 5 may feel like a new device for a while ... Big screen is good ... But they need to find a way to increase the screen size without increasing the overall phone size also

apple engineers are great designers but i don't think they have super powers that can goes against the laws of physics.

Yeah finally. Apple is always that slow to implement the market trend/goodies but once implemented, they did a hell of a good job.

Lags here and there, and my phone has resetted quite a few times. I think iphone4 and 4s will struggle to support it.

Each generation of iPhone can only be installed with
a) the generation of ios when the iPhone is purchased
b) the next generation of ios

For example. iPhone 4 comes with ios 4. iPhone 4 runs well in ios 4 and 5 and very likely to lag in ios 6 onwards.

Likewise, iPhone 4s comes with ios 5. iPhone 4s runs well in ios 5 and 6 and very likely to lag in ios 7 onwards.

Probably due to memory management or memory capacity issues.. So apple want you to buy iPhone 5s...

A conundrum? Really?
Didn't they just do that going from the 3.5" iPhone 4S to the 4" iPhone 5?
I don't see any laws of physics defied there.

Which version of iPhone are you using that is just viewable screen with no borders?

That someone is a perfectionist. Every hardware and software implementation works very well during his time (Almost 100%). This is what I like..

I will think all ios device with Apple "A5" Processor (and below) will face lag.
Eg. iPad Mini 1, iPad 2, iPod Touch 5th Gen, iPhone 4s, etc

Those with Apple A6 Processor shall be ok
Eg. iPhone 5, iPad 4...

i'm even surprised they let iphone 4 install ios7.
I already can't stand the lag in iphone4 under ios6, which got me to buy the iphone 5
