Means you tio anal officer from apple. Happened to me, unlike others here experienced.

They told me they cannot just replace without evidence. The shutdowns were shown in the diagnostic report but never replicated during the session just now. I forgot to bring my hissing video clip if not could have exchanged today. The policy is very grey. Apple told me once that only AASP makes decision to swap. But today QCD told me Apple need to make a special request before they can carry the replacement, unless they witness the defect with their eyes.

I do get your status bar delay all the time. But heck, let it be lol.

Okay, that's a worry for me. It seems like my phone has been having forced shut downs during diagnostic tests. This explains why I get force crash when using 3D touch to access my 'All inbox" of the stock mail app. And the status bar taking a second to appear after closing down apps in the multitasking scroll.

Anyone can help me check this:

Enable reduce motion toggle. Open a bunch of apps and then double press for multitasker, delete some apps and then go to home screen. Does your status bar (the battery, time and signal strength) take some time to appear? Like one second slower? Try repeating it again and see if it happens?

I went to AASP just now. They did a diagnostic. All pass except that my phone has many forced shutdowns! That could be the culprit for the battery drain.

I check my SE and 6, all has no such 'bugs" when browsing the phone in general. Like the one I mentioned above.

Hope you guys can help me see if it happens on your 7/7+ too. Thanks in advance.

tried also...don't have this problem:o

Probably mentioned somewhere in this thread but I got say this iph 7 standby battery is seriously impressive. 11pm-6am I don't touch the phone and the battery drops a big fat 0%!

No need to jb just to create album and move photos. Go to Albums tab then on the top left you can press "+" to create a new album.

Go to your other photos then press "Select" on the top right. Select your photos then press "Add to" at the bottom middle.

Thanks bros for the replies. I'm no software expert but those small issues look to be causing the drain for me. Tried the 3D touch to open all inboxes in the stock mail and try to replicate the crash. I realize the battery can easily drop when it happens. Same goes to the status bar thing. It's not 100% occurring but occurs most times than not. Only on my 7. Other phones on iOS 10.0.2 are fine.

Spoke to the product specialist and they'll do a further check and get back to me within 2 working days.

I suggest those who have unsatisfactory battery life to get it checked out. It's not universal it seems since some of the bros here are having excellent numbers on their 7\7+.

On the other hand my 6 is doing rather well on iOS 10. A 2-year old battery too. Strange indeed.

So u go I Japan use this Sim and it on the sound and when u come back u use singapore Sim it off it if that is what u mean ?

Yes, if you go overseas and use their SIM card, or maybe even hook onto their network with autoroam, it should update your Carrier settings and disable muting of camera shutter.

Worth it if want the Qualcomm core over intel
Plus their Apple Pay NFC can also use on local sg Apple Pay sound good dual perk

I'd rather get the US Verizon model. Unless I frequently go to Japan, I wouldn't be using their contactless payment solution that much.

I tried doing 3D touch and open all mail etc, no crash. Have you tried using iTunes to do a System Restore? It'll fully reinstall your iOS

Yes I have tried almost everything a consumer could possibly do including DFU restore too.

The thing is, it's not crashing all the time. Let's say I open my mail app normally, browse and do my stuff and then close the app by swiping up in the multitasking layout. About few minutes or so I 3D touch it to bring up the shortcuts, one of them being 'All inboxes" and select it, it opens the mail app and it goes back to the homescreen like how apps crashes. But the mail app was already open when I check the multitasking screen.

Same goes to the home status bar too. If I double tap the home button to access other apps and then go back to home screen, the status bar takes a second to pop out on the top of the screen. I also found out that the music I listen to through my earphones goes choppy when I access the camera while listening to music. Sorry to go on a rant but I will come to my point which is, all of the above mentioned things are absent in my 6 and SE which are running on the latest iOS 10 update. This could simply be a software bug and there are chances of it being fixed if it (that is if Apple see it as an issue in the first place). This could be the cause of the unusual but not unheard of battery drain on the 7s. But I don't know man. This could possibly be the worst experience I had with a new iPhone running a new iOS right out of the box. My experience along, with other users with similar issues on their phones might change once 10.1 drops to the public.

Understand your frustration. Sucks to have a problem and not being sorted out by Apple. Hopefully the product specialist would approve your exchange soon.

Have you tried running 10.1 beta? Not sure if it'd make a difference at all but at this point, I'd say there's nothing to lose from trying.
