Sorry if this has been asked but how do I fix the issue of the yellowish tint on my 7 plus? I googled for solutions online asking me to adjust the colour tint but it doesn't really solve the problem.

Can you explain what the issue is? One issue I heard of is that half the screen has a different yellow tint than the other half.

It is normal to have overall warmer colour than your previous phone due to colour accuracy.

Maybe a picture or two will help. If it is too much warm, better get a replacement.

If its the whole screen then should be normal. The 7+ screen is significantly yellower than the 6s. Just got to get used to it.

yup, I think in iOS 10 there is one function called reading mode, which turns the screen to yellow

Yes the whole screen is yellow and not just one spot. Strangely, the demo units at nubox and epicentre show no such symptoms. Maybe I'll visit them again and check out their display settings

just curious, is it me or does the camera app take quite long to load? worse, at times i have to switch to other modes like video then it starts.

Just received my 7+ JB, gorgeous phone.

However, after trying on 3 separate tempered glass screen protectors (cheap China non branded ones), everyone one of them lifts up at the top right hand corner of the screen (not the usual lifting, huge area).

Any possibility that my screen is actually uneven? I can't see the difference with the naked eye.

For now, I am stuck with using normal film screen protectors.

Anybody else with such an experience, pls share. I am not too keen on returning to Apple and waiting for a replacement, considering I've waited for this one for nearly 3 weeks!!!

Yea I know their quality is not that good, but 3 in a row!

And the lifting is without putting the case on, and it lifts until the border of the screen proper!

I still feel something is wrong with the my screen, but can't prove it.

Never had this experience before with any other phones.

iPhone 7+ Jet Black owners, anyone notice wavey patterns all around the edge of your metal that goes around the screen? If you do have them, it would be very visible under lighting, can even feel them. This is probably not normal.

Don't bother with that. Apple won't even entertain that reason for changing a set. From the start, they already don't encourage people to put on a TG so if your screen is uneven (visually not visible), they won't replace the phone for you.

You can try the one on the right (red box) which I bought. It fits perfectly and nicely on the 7 Plus. No bubbles. No "lifting". Purchased from Challenger. Still don't know what does Sophia glass means though lol.

just to check for those using whatsapp on old phone. If i sync my apps to itunes.. factory restore ,my old phone . . load my backups to the new phone, will my whatsapp chat history restore there or all empty?

Then u back up your whatsapp over the app itself.
Safer too.

The thing is i already turned on backup in whatsapp itself.. But always 0% uploaded.. Zzz

That's y asking whether backup/sync via iTunes, will it work?
