7 vs 7+, why plus seems to be a more popular choice?

err from gsmarena e s7 is 26mm with a 1/2.5" sensor. that is hardly wide too :s22: i doubt any smartphone camera can be considered truly wide...

Technically it's close to wide already.

The one you all referring to is ultra wide angle.

A wide angle lens usually around 16-35mm, 26mm falls in there.

Singaporeans all like dua ki ma. Best of everything. Asian market more go for phablet.

AM that side many prefer small phone cos can fit into their pants. Combine with tablet.

You doubt wrongly. The LGG5/LGV20 have a secondary camera with a 18mm lens :D

26mm is considered wide typically when e sensor is a full frame 35mm. smartphone sensors r all so small that they can't be considered truly wide...

Actually after much deliberations, I decided to go for the smaller iPhone 7, instead of the Plus.
The extra 1GB of ram could come in handy, but I doubt the 2GB version will become obsolete by next year with the launch of the iPhone 8. Also, I feel the dual cam setup looks pretty gimmicky since 2x zoom is hardly of any use. The bigger screen with higher resolution is the main attraction for me, but because of the poor screen to phone ratio, it makes the phone unnecessarily big.

I have the same dilemma as you. I really love the dual lens camera of iPhone 7 plus cuz i always zoom in and the photos get grainy, but I way prefer iPhone 7 size cuz its much easier to hold and use with one hand.

Still pondering... :s22:
