Nehhh.. its people like this. Dont have to look through past posts to find lel. (Replying to a reply asking who bashed me haha)
Did I praise androids features? No.. I just merely stated the advantages that androids have over ios. Stating advantages is not the same as praising. I also state the advantages iphones have over androids. Why dont you say I praised iphones too?
Of course if you only praise ios in android forums people will react. But here I stated the advantages of both ecosystems and still got the same treatment? Why? Because people read what they dont like to read.
Like what I said in a previous post, new features are always a trial and error. Sure, the implementation of the iris scanner is not perfect and I agree with that since the beginning. New ideas and features are like that.. they simply dont work well and receive lots of criticism (like what you just did).
- Samsung first launched the note line a few years back and people said its too big. Now, it is common to have phones that size.
- The first gen iphones dont have an app store. You can only use preinstalled apps.
- LG tried going modular with the LGG5.. turns out really bad as the build quality sucked. (Then motorola came with the moto mods. Sub modularity but it is much better)
- And now, back to iphones. No headphone jack and some people complain about the audio quality.
All first gen features and products are like that. They are bound to improve and get better. Me not stating the flaws doesn't mean I dont recognise it.
Back to the iris scanner, though it is badly implemented, a software update can easily fix that. I added it as an advantage over iPhones only because iris recognition on a phone is thought to be a futuristic idea a few years back. But samsung surprised many by putting a fully functional and quick iris scanner on the n7. They did it quite well even though its a first gen feature. (Since you said that I am praising the iris scanner, this is how praising sounds like.) People who cared about security cared more about functionality over form and the iris scanner is good. Like I said, its only gonna get better. Its always a good to have compared to dont have.
Now about iPhones.. iPhones are good too. They are very fast, efficient, reliable, alluring, optimised, clean, brings (some) improvements to features on android (cos sometimes they did is worse. sometimes.) and it simply just works. But then the flaws are that the os is wayy too locked down, slow to implement important features available on other flagships, next gen products looks very similar to the previous gen, company lacks drive to innovate more etc.. Though the flaws may be a blessing in disguise.
Aiya shall we just end it here? At the end of the day its presonal choice lah. Its your money so its up to you to spend it. Like apple, buy apple products. Like samsung, buy Samsung products. Just dont anyhow go bash people when they are trying to help educate others to make their choice. You know its very tiring to type so much on a phone?
Make peace not war can?
