Some shots from the iPhone 7. So far haven't really played with the camera is daylight too much yet, but lowlight shots are nice. Colours are very nice, not too over-saturated.

Image taken by my iPhone6S+... Should i upgrade?
For camera only then not worth it. There is not a big difference in picture quality. In low light conditions then there will be a bigger difference but still not that much better that is worth to upgrade.

For the other parts of the phone, you will get a force touch home button and stereo speakers. But you lose the headphone jack. Not worth to upgrade in my opinion

i'm impressed with your shots:eek:

it's not just point and shoot right? seems like need to tweak settings to get such quality?

It's just point and shoot using the default camera ya. Didn't post process the image either. I'm quite impressed with the camera on the iP7. :s12:

I am using 6splus. Worth upgrading anyone can share please?

contemplated on this and not worth it. sold mine 7+ first day (Friday). without a headphone jack, minimal upgrades (camera, screen, home button??), put in a casing and its just the same... now moved on by just buying dbrand carbon skin for my naked 6s+.

but if you got money to burn, get the sexy black 7+.

now contemplating on getting out of apple ecosystem for awhile and get note7 :s11:

A few more samples from this morning. Comparing with S7 Edge. Actually quality is just as good on both, but i prefer the colour on the iPhone 7 more. More true to life. Not sure how to describe this, but when pixel peeping the image processing looks cleaner on the iPhone too.

Both are really good smartphone cameras though, can't go wrong with either.

For the camera alone probably not, unless you really want that telephoto lens, faster aperture for better lowlight.

But there are other improvements too.

- Better display (wide colour)
- Better taptic engine
- 4 grams lighter ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
- ip67
- Better processor
- better front camera (1080p front camera recording vs 720p)
- Cat 9 LTE vs Cat 6 LTE
- better battery life
- non-physical home button (this one is a plus for me cause 1 less mechanical part to worry about)

These are all pretty incremental upgrades other than the home button and ip67 to me, so in the end have to see whether these are worth it for you or not.

Nice photos there, Alex! What I always like about the photos coming from an iPhone are that the photos are more natural and closer to what a human eyes see. You don't get over-saturated or contrast shot with apple ISP which is good as you can always tweak to your liking with all the apps available.

I think the biggest difference between the Samsung and iPhone cameras would be the low light performance. Both are good, but the Samsung has significantly less noise in low light than the iPhone.

In good lighting, it's more of personal preference already. But I notice the Samsung has better bokeh than the iPhone.

It's been one week since the 7/7+ has been released. How's everyone getting along with your new phones?
