Agreed. After-sales support is outstanding. But I would prefer if they iron out such bugs before releasing to the public.

It's hard to iron out all issues with regards to a new phone. Maybe the hissing sound could be fixed with a software update. Who knows?

Anyone on iOS 10.1 Beta can test out whether the hissing sound is still present?

So it's something like coil whine also? Depends on luck? So have some don't have.

since not all iPhone 7 users got the hissing issue, perhaps the replacement units will not have. *prays*

Your recording didn't pick up the hiss I assume?

Nope didn't really hear it, just normal static sound.

Just pass by A lab at plaza, too many people queuing, will visit QCD in an hour, I am confirmed exchanging due to my home button

Okay here's the catch... I was thinking since I'm exchanging my phone I removed my Mono Dsign Duraglas TG and wanna test if the reachability is okay, because I was suspecting it might be the TG.

So far after an hour of removing it everything seems fine....

Is the TG thick and align very closely to the home button?

Iirc is 0.26mm but the ring around home button feels quite thick. Maybe because it is 2.5D curve makes it not so easy to tap?

I am not going to Apple shop today and let me try whether any problem resurface after that :)

PS: And yeah Iirc it is quite near the ring of the home buttom, or maybe the TG is too close to the ring of home button and tapped it?

Observe for a couple of days without TG and see if you can replicate the issue. I believe the TG was the problem.

Yeah I'm thinking of it too but strangely, whenever I restarted my iPhone it's working perfectly with the TG on it, it happens only after awhile of usage. Thus my gf don't want me to remove it because I already wasted few TG haha.

Now I'm afraid GDSMITH one later replicate the same issue since it is 0.4mm thick :(

Can anyone convince me to get the non plus iPhone 7 and opt for gold instead of black..:o
It's cheaper. The telephoto lens really not that great. iOS well optimised so 2gb ram is enough. Smaller phone, easier to handle with one hand.

it's all down to preference. i went from ip5 to ip6+ and never looked back since. reading/viewing/typing on a bigger screen is better. sure, the non-plus size are comfy in hand but bigger screen is my preference. colour, it's really about which one u like. initially i wanted jet black bcos it's the new colour but after considering the possibility of scratches and the fact that the matte black looks more stealthy, i decide to go for matte. i was using a gold ip6+ bcos of the gold ring around the home button. people's opinion are fine but rmbr u are the one using your own purchase.

I had a similar incident for my 6s plus. At first I had issues with fingerprint unlock . 50% fail to unlock. Initially I thought it's the sensor issue, but it ended up was the TG. After switching another TG, my fingerprint unlocks 90% of the time.
