anyone face battery drain issues?

low power mode when i sleep. drop 8% when i wake up. whatsapp background activity 4.4 hours.

never dropped so much on my 6s plus. but on iPhone 7 Plus.

How to totally mute the phone?

Hi guys, last time on my note 4, I could expend the sound volume and mute not only the incoming alerts, but sounds from games and videos.

Is there a way to do it on the iphone? I already set it to "do not disturb", pushed down that toggle button by the side to silent, but when I watch a video the sound still plays and I have to scamble with the volume buttons to turn down the sound while the video is playing

me too. i felt batt life on 6s plus better. but cos i updated to iOS 10 and den upgraded to 7+ shortly, hard to judge whether software issue. haix ... go service centre also not sure if they can determine cause of battery drain.

I'm on 7 and I'm not too happy about battery life either. Something just doesn't seem right in my 7. Think I'll wait until a software update. If no improvement, time to welcome back my SE.

Eh I don't think they'll do repair of such things on the spot.. their response is always that they need to send it back to Apple for repair if it's repairable. If not repairable, they'll do 1-1.

I guess in the mean time, you can use the assistive touch to control vol etc.. kinda weird for your phone to keep having problem though.. some more the "scraped" is just above your vol up button, maybe it was dropped or damaged by someone else?

I'm very anal when it comes to taking care of my phone so it has not dropped before. Just went to a lab (ccp). The consultant after inspecting the stuck button, told me that the phone cannot be repaired and will be 1-1 replaced but need 3 working days.

Song dah. resolved my volume button and paint peel issue together lol.now I'm hoping not to receive a set with the hissing issue as mine doesn't have such issue.

nope, don't think there is an option to it.

you can change the volume from control center. swipe up from bottom, go to music page. control with the volume slider there.

That's good to hear! Though it will be a refurbished set but I trust Apple refurb set more than 2nd hand set haha.

haha ok . . another story from my past ip3g . . that time i changed for a refurbished set. . 2 - 3 month later my wifi died . . for the next 9 mths or so i cannot use wifi.. lol

cannot replace again . . cos it past the 1 or 3 mths period for refurbished phone . . unless u pay. . but no point la . . so use it till i got my ip4 haha. . maybe i suay haha

anyway i googled about refurbished sets, seems like majority claimed that refurbished sets are as good as new ones, if not better, due to the additional quality control testings done for such sets.
