Ok....I checked the quarterly earnings liao

3Q2016: 3.7 cents

4Q2016: 3.5 cents

Half year: 3.7 + 3.5 = 7.2 cents


So if M1 stop the rot and at least can maintain the 2H2016 earnings.....that means

7.2 X 2 = 14.4 cents earnings for 2017

but nespresso is expensive eh, the capsule itself is expensive no? Plus you will be their slave in terms of pricing. If they increase capsule price, you LL must increase.

I have a grinder and espresso machine at home. So I usually just get a bag of beans which is cost <$10 at my go to shop or like <$20 at cafes. A bag of beans can last me about 1 month. Or when I go overseas, I will get beans to bring back and try.

My grinder and machine, I use for 3 years plus on a daily basis. Still kicking. Imagine 3 years of $5 coffee saved. HAHAHA

My m1 actually got hidden losses one

I got sell at losses and then buy back again

by I wrote off the M1 previous losses with my gains from ARA, gg max

If u take last 2 qtr's earnings and annualize it for this coming year, the earnings this year will be even lower than last year

cannot take Q3/4 and annualized like that one, cause some quarters good or bad depends on product launchs like iphone 7 or S8 in 2017

but I think current market expectation is pricing in another say 10% decline in earnings for M1 in 2017

if M1 can maintain earnings in 2017 at same level as full year 2016, I think that would beat market expectations

will attend M1 agm to have a feel of the outlook for 2017

TPG will come in early 2018 or so

the outlook of telcos is not good for sure

for those who are bearish on telcos, actually ok to just avoid this segment

park $$ are reits for dividends seems more stable than to park on telcos

to put $$ on telcos u are betting on a bottom in earnings

in the short run M1 will continue to be volatile ba, too much influence from the threat of the 4th telco riao

but eventually the earnings will bottom out and stabilize


countries that have 4 telcos have proven and shown that all 4 can remain profitable

but generally when 4th telco comes in, the whole lot all profitability drops


the answer if finding when the earnings bottoms and hoot
