but I think maybe he is not csb but real.... because sign on army got lump sum right?

if get like 50k head start... compound over 7 years maybe can become 100-200 already

then army can eat free food, stay for free... if stay in... expenses can super low

salary also very high if promote fast fast... maybe can save 2k in the beginning and 5k upwards on later stage?

i assume his portfolio is 5 times my size... so probably he hit like 1.5 mil stock portfolio at age 34? possible ma?

on a legal point of view, u are NOT SUPPOSED to TRADE on your DAD's ACCOUNT

unless its a joint account with both your names, or that you have a 3rd party authorization


best is make joint account, anything happens... u take over the account

or if he SUPER TRUST you... shares all kept in YOUR CDP

Thanks for your advice, but I getting him to sell PTC is a feat itself, selling all of his stock or even getting a joint account will be near impossible. He wont trust us with that amount of money.

Right now, what I can do is to sell some of his hopeless counter, and recommend him good counters to invest in. He seems to be interested only in growth stocks like Isoteam. Bluechips, Reits and bond doesn't appeal to him .

actually i am quite disappointed that he is a army officer.. a senior officer at that.

i got this impression that he was a struggling family man that is earning median income a major pay is definitely not median.
