i do have classmates who are investing pretty big, in the range of high 5 figures to low 6 digits? Most got their initial capital from tuition/NS/angpow, plus maybe a little family top up here and there. Crimsontactics from edmw also have 6 figures at 25 anyway.

i've heard some getting 300-400 dividends on average per month, so at a 5% yield, their portfolio also close to 100k anyway

Starhub's Net Profit After Tax is in a declining trend over 3 consecutive quarters.

2Q2016: $109M

3Q2016: $86M

4Q2016: $54M

I don't see an improvement anytime soon especially when TPG becomes operational in 2018 and starts to compete for market share.

It seems like gloomy days are ahead for sg telco's margins that seem to have dropped a lot throughout the year

ST should be steady one. Lucky I choose ST instead of SH when I was about to buy my first Telco shares.

I noticed a lot of youngsters can afford to go holiday like thrice a year, jiak cafe/restaurants and so forth.. Some go simi staycation. lol.

Movie wise i watched online better.

influence by parents too. My cousin go overseas every yr. Next time they continue this habit.

We intend to pay a quarterly cash dividend of 4 cents per ordinary share for FY2017

Scary times indeed for domestic-focused telcos. Singtel should be able to withstand the storm better. But don't go too heavy into it either.

M1 and SH really sucked big time
The other 10 still solid

Sometimes diversification really important
As not all your stocks will do well

My power of cd greatly reduced due to these 2 weeds

Agree. The Netlink Trust IPO is a big short-term positive for Singtel. I really cannot see any short-term or long-term positives from M1 and SH.

same! i was deciding between SH and ST after the 4th telco details released and the sell down. But luckily i chose ST, but hope our choice are right!
