how does valuecapital assets make money?

i realize this fund management company is engaged in many conversion exercises of micro pennies on sgx, including magnus energy, nicosteel and even the scandalous lion gold!

if they lose money, got fund manager so stupid?

if they win money, is it ethical? wat incentives did they provide to these companies, so much so that they are willing to allow valuecapita to convert shares of magnus at mkt discount? http://www.businesstimes.com.sg/companies-markets/major-dilution-for-magnus-energy-from-convertible-notes


next question would be, are the directors of magnus energy benefiting from the conversion? besides the company getting more cash.
