I don't quite get the logic of buying CDG if significant growth is not expected, while the dividend is not >= 5%.

Because at current price, CDG is already capable of paying ~5% dividend every year at 80% pay-out ratio if they want to. The remaining 20% can still be used for growth.

But speculation at this moment. This year, I think can get 4.5% dividend from CDG.

Not set in stone, if buy and no eventual 4.5% dividend yield, don't come after me.

4.5% solid dividends yields is still good, comparable to say SingTel

cheers

My open feedback sent to investing note via email

Please pardon my straight ward forward style, if you feel offended... I apologize in advance

you guys have been doing a very lousy job... the 3 key points are as follows

1) Voucher out of stock - the inventory was not stocked up conservatively as you all were not prepared for a surge in users that came over from SSI forum

2) Lagging platform - back end wise, you all were also not prepared as the servers could not keep up with the increased traffic... there was not enough buffer/margin safety....you guys should had been more prepared

3) Frequent Changes to Reward System - From what I have read, this is the third restructure of the system within the last 6 months... this confuses and frustrates existing users...

The latest points change is a 70-80% nerf/reduction to top active contributors daily point gains... which is TOO MUCH. If you want to dangle the carrot, then give the carrot generously... if not you might as well don't give at all... its like uber/grab giving $5 off the ride promo, but instead you guys cut it down from $5 to 50 cents... YOU MIGHT AS WELL NOT RUN THE PROMO RIGHT?

You threw vouchers to attract new users to gain market share, now that you have more users you quickly shut the tap and piss us off?

Due to these changes and mistakes, I expect your traffic to fall 20-50% in the coming 4 weeks, good luck

ML,
Previously your advise was to hold out my Starhub bought 2500 share at 3.37 to heal.
If i were to average low now, at what price would you think is a safe margin given the reduction in dividend and profits.
