Emergency fund is for home/personal emergencies. Warchest is for buying.
Thats what im saying. no commitment and stable work what other emergency can there be.
Always keep your emergency fund well hidden and difficult to access. That way you are not tempted to touch them. Also make sure your Emergency Fund able to grow too albeit even for a minute pace.![]()
i keep my emergency fund in ocbc 360 acc for more interest. i do not really need to seperate it because i am in comtrol of my spending

Emergency fund shd be parked in money market like FD, SSB, etc.
Treat this as a part of your "bond" or "cash" component in your asset allocation.
Emergency fund should be separate from warchest.
since this case, ppl say that emergency fund should be around 3-6mth. is it 3-6mth worth of income after cpf or expenses.
