DW, just curious how much % cash over shares are you sitting on before your REITs shopping spree began? Your shopping list is long!

And I noticed your 2nd buy is priced at only less than 3% below your 1st buy, would that means it will easily be hit? Do you have plan to average down further if say the price drop a further of 10%?

Do you share your portfolio on SGXCafe?

Around 63% in cash after my shopping spree last week. The recent weakness in REITs might be giving me an opportunity to restart my dividend portfolio. Let's see how things pan out in 2017.

I think 3% - 5% below 1st tranche can nibble because all these are high quality REITs. Don't wanna miss the boat. If prices drop a further 10%, might activate 3rd tranche or cut loss.

https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/SATS:SP

SATS already ran up too high and too fast

current PE or 23 is way too high

I would only pay PE 15 or lower for it

you may find more value buying SIA than SATS... as SIA is the majority shareholder of SATS and SIA Engineering

SIA on my watch list for long time. Keep breaking new low.

Just fly back. Airport business looks good. More economic uncertainty ahead, defensive stocks look good.

I have a feeling it would reach PE 25 to 30.

Singapore Airlines' passenger volume slips 1.2% in November

Due to weak demand from South West Pacific.

Singapore Airlines ferried 1.52 million passengers last month, down 1.2% on a year-on-year basis.

The drop was mainly due to an 8.1% reduction in demand from South West Pacific, which has been affected by material increases in industry capacity.

Overall passenger carriage fell 1.4% from last year, compared to 1.0% growth in capacity. PLF edged up for both East Asia, and West Asia and Africa, but declined for all other regions.

Meanwhile, cargo load factor (CLF) remained unchanged at 66.4% as the increase in cargo traffic (measured in freight tonne-kilometres) matched capacity expansion of 3.3%. East Asia was the only route region which registered an improvement in CLF as demand outstripped the increase in capacity.

my XIRR is around 12% over the last 9 years, my old profile on sgxcafe got show everything... those who see before will know.. but I had since taken it down

if I had to guess his XIRR from 2012 to 2016, it would be negative... considering he liquidated his portfolio 3 times when facing market decline
