https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/ST:SP

singtel bounced up a bit liao, i managed to hoot at close to 4.8-5% yield

if got come to 5% yield again can hoot for sure

I do expect singtel to maintain dividends at current levels, no worries of cut

https://www.bloomberg.com/quote/STH:SP

current yield of 7% is super juicy, along with golden support of 2.8 level due to buyin from CEO

I expect dividends to be cut from 20 cents yearly 5 cents per quarter to
16 cents yearly 4 cents per quarter

at 16 cents div along with entry at 2.80 the yield will be 5.7%
at 16 cents div along with entry at 3.00~ the yield will still be above 5%

telcos are very good buy for long term dividends

4th telco will enter for sure, it may take 5 years for 4th telco to capture 5-10% market share

earnings across the board will fall but the core 3 telcos will still remain profitable

cheers

I like FCL.

It has more cash and higher recurring income YOY. Plus the dividend payout is maintained.

Balance sheet is improving. But the outlook of their industry in next few year seemed bleak. I will probably just hold on to what I have and not add anymore.

Any other risk on FCL I should be looking out for?
Thailand and uk exposure
High gearing

They 3 years in a row pay same dividends is very good sign

Do you guys look at overseas bluechip like unilever or P&G? I always wanted to add FMCG stocks to my portfolio.

Sgx or I should say that Singapore doesn't have much of this type of listed companies. :(

US i stopped a few years ago

US more for trading since dividends got 30% tax
