Or you actually prefer share price increase?

Which also curious for myself. Do I want a good share price with low dividend yield or low share price but good dividend yield.

hmm true. it gives ~10% dividend. but there's always a reason for the high yield i guess. the gearing (debt/equity) on this is really high. scary. unker heart weak

there are 2 types of stocks:

Growth: low divy, capital gain. growth companies are in expansionary. they don't pay dividends because they reinvest the cash flow

Dividend: low capital gain, higher divy. telcos/banks/reits to name a few. usually mature companies sustaining ops and returning cash flow to shareholders

I sold mine at 2.05 to hoot reits, but no regrets with taking the 16% profit
