if got defects, u can call the HDB hot line, they w get the oic to call u back within 3 days, they w fixed an appointment w u to review the defects, they w ask u to put up a number lock and they w ask the workers to fix the defects within 14 days.

I spotted this the girl is selling lots of good brand new stuff she got for her place but the house came renovated already.

She’s just sold the Daikin smile series for 1.5k only.

HDB & BSC will call u to schedule an appointment for their supervisor to conduct joint inspection of the defects.

The supervisor will submit the form and it’ll take 14days for them to complete rectification, during this time no other contractor should enter.

You can visit your unit periodically to ensure they do not use your WC facilities, especially master WC it’s bad luck the master should be the 1st one to use this. It should be sealed only e master can tear it open. (Don’t let anyone dispose on e master/head of e house)
BSC & HDB knows their contractors are not suppose to use your facilities as well.

They’ll turn it on for 7D for u to conduct defect check. If u don’t apply for SP Acct after 7D it’ll auto-shut.

Water:
A. To turn on water open ur DBB, a handle is provided in a plastic bag tgr w all electrical & piping legend plan (note don’t throw it away, scan or take a snapshot in case u lose it and may need it later)
Use e tap handle turn on water from outside your unit. You’ll also need a screwdriver to remove e cover of the main tap.

1. Fill a bucket of water, pour every part of e floor to check if water flow smoothly towards the wastetrap, if it doesn’t — mark that spot defect, they’ll hack & redo for u.
Floors of:
a) kitchen, b) service yard, c) bathrooms

2. Fill up bucket of water again, pour it directly into all the wastetrap located in all e bathrooms, service yard & kitchen. Check that it doesn’t get choke, flow too slowly, or if debris rise out, mark it defect for them to fix it.

3. Check all taps including e one located in SY + WC for:
a) water pressure
b) if e valve is working properly.
c) any leakage on e pipes
d) Leave e water running for 5 mins for luck, energy flow, cleansing.

Electricity:
Check that every power socket works, remember to check DB Box as well as bomb shelter (most ppl forget this rm)

Thereafter u won’t need electricity or water anymore until your Reno or rectification work by BSC that requires electricity.

So u can start applying online on March 2018 and u don’t have to pay for all those buckets of water $$$ you used for defect checks. SP will not charge u for water/electricity before your application. Confirm by SP

The free water/electricity is also e reason why defects check should be done within 7Days.

If you check your defects w water before the “activation date” although you’ve applied for the account - No you haven’t been charged.
BUT! if you check after SP guy visited for activation of your unit then yes your water & electricity is chargeable.

Wanna hear something sad that happened to me today?

Today I went to purchase a beautiful “new” WC from a seller. We negotiated for 20 mins online and the seller was happy and I was happy we cut e deal.

She rushed back & I rushed to her place to pick up e WC, she asked me to check if everything is ok no cracks etc and that I’m fully satisfied.

We opened the box together happily.
Box 1 the cistern bowl was good and beautiful.
Box 2 supposed to be the water tank thingy but it was a basin. The seller said took the wrong item they’ll get the water closet thingy down. While waiting for e water closet, seller was really kind, she asked if I needed a basin if i hadn’t bought one, she’ll give this to me.
I accepted the free gift gratefully.
Box 3 arrived but immediately drop to e floor right in front of all of us! we quickly opened e box up and found out the corner of the lid had chipped to pieces, my heart broke.
Seller was shocked and everyone too.
I asked the seller do u think I can purchase a replacement lid, she said she’s not sure but I can try checkinh w mfr using e model number, perhaps they will sell e whole water closet but not just e lid. She said i want it, she’ll give it to me for free so i can find a replacement lid for e water closet. She said she can’t sell it off anymore anyways.

I’ve never met a person who is so kind in my life albeit I’m sad my beautiful WC is slightly broken but I’m touched by e generosity and kindness of this person. 🌤

In life it’s really touching to meet a kind person my heart is touched but sad for her.

1. Bathroom Accessories Towel Rack, TP holder
2. Cooker Hood
3. Mould guard paint
4. Wallpaper
5. Volvo changing to cheaper car save petrol.

I’m not renovating much this time, I’m making everything portable, ID to make modular cabinets, portable counter bar, each time I move gotta leave it behind and when buyer invite u to house warming ya heart break seeing everything is hack off.

Then I’m good I’m moving in soon

Nevertheless, you may still make a request for SFR during keys collection and we will follow up with our Branch Office on your request."

Is there any way to get them to follow up with the Branch Office now? As the wait seems to be very long.
