Happened to read in previous few sbf thread i think, some ppl went for appt without knowing their new que no. So the officer told them so they can consider..
Yes, HDB officers have revealed results of upcoming ballots before and it is not one off. I have followed the Nov 16 thread closely and it has happened. You attend your selection appointment, mention you are also in the ballot for the SBF, and would like to request to know more about your position in the upcoming exercise in the hopes of making a more informed decision.
Of course, this is contingent upon the fact that you have a queue number in a previous exercise that will see you visiting the sales office for selection this week or two, AND that balloted queue numbers for May 2017 SBF are due to be released either this week or the next anyway.
anyway just wait bahs ~ 1-2 weeks more ...I have a flat selection appointment next week so I tried my luck, called in to hdb asking if they can reveal my q no. to me... but the staff say results not out yet, nothing to reveal to me. Results only out IN AUGUST.
Now me is so sad because hdb officer says if I choose my flat during my appt next week, whatever pending applications i have will be deemed as cancelled wor
sob sob

If you already chosen a flat, why do you still need the other application?

Oh, I think I know why you want to know your queue number.
I estimated that the ballot results should be out by 7 August latest. They wont reveal earlier usually. I tried asking before too.
I was in your situation for the SBF Nov 2016. My selection appt date was 15 May. From the start of the selection exercise (7 Apr) until my appt date, I kept refreshing the list to see which units were taken. The decision wasnt hard to make since the only units left were on 2nd floors & not in the estate that I had wanted either. So I just forgo my appt. Then luckily, SBF May 2017 opened on 18 May.
My suggestion would be to go through your list and if the units you wanted are already taken, then just forgo the appt. BUT if this is your 2nd time forfeiting as a First-Timer, you will lose your First-Timer status for 1 year.
I have not chosen any flat, my appointment is next week.
Anyway, my application for May sbf was submitted before I'm notified about next week's bto flat selection. Plus this bto flat selection was too unexpected because my q no. is way out of the range.
how out of range ?
i got a queue no. in feb bto too but i also too too out of range ...
units available is 700+ but my queue no. is like 1100+

hahah. my case units available is close to 900, my q no. is more than 1700
plus this bto was launched in Aug 2016,
results released in oct 2016,
notified me for flat selection in June 2017

What!!! Is it tomorrow or next week![]()
From what I've gathered from lurking here, once mouse icon is gone from Application Status, next is to wait for it to appear on Application Result.
Any idea whats the usual gap between those timings? Tonight? Tomorrow? Next week??
