Ur estate's selection date starts from Oct, could be early Oct or late Oct, u need to check ur myhdb page to know the exact date, roughly ~1month before
U applied where? How many rooms? If 5selections/day, ur selection might fall on day-3 or day-4!

If you have a certain unit you want specifically in mind and it's a good unit I think you can just go straight for resale. If you dont mind any unit I think can wait out abit.
