Me too selection was early oct. Havent heard from hdb yet.

Mine also 5th Oct. Kept asking the officer in charge but he just stuck to his template answers.

I hope so. The officer's reply was that HDB is sprucing up the unit but from what I saw a few days ago when I walked to the unit, nothing has changed since my last visit. Flyers are still stuck at the gate's hinges so I reckon I can conclude the door was never open?

Grant approved since late Nov.

I've been reading on this thread that it is usually a short wait to key collection once grant is approved. And i was banking on that.. grr. Can stop dreaming abt moving in before Raya

Not really to rush means I’ll be squeeze by companies to pay high price.

Hey before you engage any ID watch this video. So sometimes my splitting work might be safer

Example:

1. Carpentry Kitchen Cabinet - ID firm
2. Electrician & Plumbing - Contractor
3. Flooring - Direct Supplier & Installer
4. Heater - heater Installer
5. Lighting - Contractor to install.

No hacking to main warranty from HDB

The warranty is also longer when I get direct from supplier.

Anyways here’s the video before u engage ID or contractor to do a turnkey project for your home.

I think it’s important to get an ID that’s been established or around for more than 5 years at least they won’t run away.

Example like

Unimax Creative (this company has proper 8 years warranty & $89 PFR for carpentry) look for Chloe +65.9156.5159 very professional.

Forest woodworking Pte Ltd
Been around since 1987.
+65.6250.8221

Or weiken think they’ve been around for 10 years.

05 oct. Waiting to receive key collection date. Worry there is a further delay. It's nearly 4 months.

Mine too. Selection on 01 Nov. No grant and until now no update.

Strange door incident in my BTO

Today I went to my unit again just to check on the drainage.

The first time I step into my unit. I love everything about it, the feeling.. the view.. the everything about it. I didn’t give much thoughts when I noticed BR 3 door was locked, so I opened it w my keys (albeit a lil peculiar only this particular bedroom door was locked) Shortly after I noticed the door was shut again, so i asked my mom if she’d shut BR3 door, she said she didn’t. So I thought hmm it’s ok, I’ll just open it again.

The 2nd time I went with my maid, i told my maid, do not touch the doors & windows, only to check on Defects, she said ok, shortly later she said to me BR3 door is lock, I asked why did she locked it? I tried opening it but it won’t (I didn’t bring BR3 keys w me, somehow after fiddling w the door it was unlocked) She said nope she didn’t do anything she was at the master bedroom, whilst I was at the living room.

Ok so before I left the house, I ensured that all windows are closed and all doors are opened, guess what?

Today I went over to my house, and the windows were opened! And BR3’s door was shut again!

Tmr, I’m going back there in the morning for SP guys activation, I’ll give y’all a spectral update if this time round BR3 door would be closed again.


P.S: some ppl say if a place is left empty for too long uninvited guest might dwell for a while guess that’s e reason why we need to claim our home.

Did y’all know the day you collect your keys, all the electricity & water will be turned on too? So you don’t have to apply SP immediately and get charged.
